Jacob Doll, MD, is an academic interventional cardiologist at VA Puget Sound Health Care System and Core Investigator at the Seattle/Denver Center of Innovation for Patient-Centered and Value-Driven Research. His work has focused on performance assessment and quality improvement for cardiac diseases, with a particular interest in clinician assessment. He is a former VA Career Development Award recipient. He is co-Director of the Seattle HSR fellowship program.
Outside of the COIN, Dr. Doll is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington, the UW Medicine Medical Director for Learning, and the Deputy Section Head for Cardiology at VA Puget Sound. He has national leadership roles at the VA Clinical Assessment, Reporting, and Tracking (CART) program and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. In each of these research and leadership roles, Dr. Doll is focused on supporting the lifelong learning of clinicians, delivering impactful feedback for professional development, and building health systems that result in high-quality care delivery.
