I am a Health Science Specialist serving as the Director of Operations – Research Engagement for the Seattle-Denver Center for Veteran-centric and Value-driven Research (DiSCoVVR COIN). In addition, I am the Associate Director for the VA Collaborative Evaluation Center (VACE) and the Co-Lead for the VA Office of Rural Health funded Growing Rural Outreach through Veteran Engagement (GROVE) Center. In Denver, I work to build and support effective researchers and research teams to carry out impactful local and national research and QI projects. I bring my experience collaborating with operational partners and VA Central Office to VACE to answer effectiveness questions for emerging innovations and policies in VA through rigorous program evaluation design and reporting. Drawing upon my research interest and expertise in patient engagement and CBPR, I work to ensure Veteran and caregiver voices and feedback are incorporated into research and quality improvement projects across VHA.
