I’m a biostatistician with eleven years of experience in research, beginning at the University of Colorado Boulder working on a project measuring the impact of marijuana use on cognitive function and academic success. After completing my master’s degree in Biostatistics from the University of Colorado Denver in 2015, I took a position as a Research Scientist for the National Academy of Sciences at the Radiation Effects Research Foundation (RERF) in Hiroshima, Japan.

As a collaborative statistician with broad experience in data analysis, I spent seven years contributing to a range of multidisciplinary projects to study the long-term health effects of radiation among atomic bomb survivors using large-scale epidemiological cohorts, longitudinally-measured clinical information, and molecular biological data, each of which required unique consideration of design, methodology, analysis, and presentation of results.

In 2022, I relocated back to the U.S., and I’m thrilled to join the VA and become a member of the quantitative team at Denver’s COIN. I look forward to applying my skills as a collaborative statistician over a range of VA projects to improve healthcare for our nation’s veterans.
