Education: Innovative Dissemination
Finding ways to disseminate and implement SD COIN research is our goal. We look for innovative ways to acheive this. We do not believe there is one way to "get the word out". There are many and we are interested in exploring what works now and what will become available in the future. We believe there is not simply one way to do this and apply a number of methods.
For instance, follow us on Twitter at @SeaDenCOIN to find out about upcoming cyberseminars our researchers are giving. Or learn about the publications we are constantly putting out. Look and see who we are following and who is following us to find many of researchers also on Twitter. You can find a community of researchers who are truly innovative.
We are also using visual abstracts to make people more familiar with our research publications. See all our rapidly expanding collection.
Health Findings in Focus Podcast
The first episode of the new podcast Health Findings in Focus features an interview with Dr. Heather Gilmartin. It is a great introduction to Relational Coordination. Have a listen:
A slidedoc is a document created using presentation software, where visuals and words unite to illustrate one clear point per page. They're meant to be printed or distributed instead of presented. The result is a medium that can be read more quickly than a document.
Cyberseminars are state-of-the art training and special interest sessions via live web conferences and 24/7 on-demand archived presentations that feature many of our investigators.
