Research Activities

Dr. Picazo is a Pulmonary & Critical Care physician as well as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Seattle Puget Sound VA. He is passionate about identifying and addressing barriers to equitable healthcare access. His current research aims are to identify gaps in healthcare access, characterize healthcare quality and understand the impact of guidelines on evidence-based care delivery among patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
